About this product family
Die-casting greases provide local lubrication and protection where heat and mechanical loading challenge ordinary greases. The range includes aluminium-based ALUFLOW 150 for die start-up and release, graphite-based ALUFLOW IK for hot-die application and copper-based METALPROT COPPER for threaded connections.
The category’s selection guide discusses mineral, synthetic, extreme-pressure and graphite formulations. General examples include synthetic service above 250°C, a dropping-point criterion of ≥250°C and four-ball wear and weld-load assessment. It also gives an illustrative lubrication interval of 2–20 shots, depending on the machine cycle. These are general guide values rather than specifications for every listed product.
